Sand Sharks finish 9th at PBC Championships, Stevenson leads way for USCB

GAINESVILLE -- THe USCB women's cross country team wrapped up its 2024 campaign Saturday morning at the Peach Belt Conference Championships finishing 9th overall with a score of 260 at the North Georgia Cross Country Course in Gainesville.

Senior Cydney Stevenson again paced Beaufort, capping her senior cross country season with a time of 21:18.6 and a 56th overall finish. Freshman Kate Curry posted her second-best outing of the year, just seven seconds off her personal best finishing with a time of 23:10.0.

Aniah Wright ended her cross country career in grand style crossing the finish line with a PR time of 24:09.9. Sofia Mejia and LeeAisha Ford ended their seasons with times of 25:45.0 and 28:25.1 respectively. De'Andra rounded out USCB's squad posting a time of a 35:22.11.
