Top Plays: Neal's 2-under final round gives USCB second place finish at Oldfield

BLUFFTON -- McLain Neal put together an impressive first year with the USCB Women's Golf team. The Olathe, Kansas native racked up three top-3 finishes including a second place finish at the Sand Shark's home tournament, the Oldfield Intercollegiate.

She was two-over through 10, but then she rattled off birdies on holes 11-14. On the par-4 12th her tee shot ended up in the bunker, but she easily got out of the sand putting her second shot within four feet of the hole and sunk the putt. She followed up with another two birdies on 13 and 14. Neal nearly made it five straight on 15, but her putt rimmed out of the hole. On the final hole she reached the green in regulation and sunk a 10-foot putt to finish off her stellar round, earning the second place finish and helping USCB claim a top-3 spot in its home tournament.
