Two more PR's as youth shines for USCB

COLUMBIA -- The youth was on display for the USCB women's track and field team Friday in Columbia as both Dionna Rivers and Kasey Thompson set personal bests at the Carolina Challenge.

Junior LeeAisha Ford led the way in the 200 meter dash, finishing with a 27 seconds flat mark, but the two freshman Rivers who finished with a time of 27.11 and Thompson 28.40, both excelled breaking their previous bests.

On the field side, De'Andra Brown and Sophia Stalford put up respectable marks in both the shot put and weight throw.

The Sand Sharks are back in action this weekend at the Liberty Invite hosted by Liberty University.
