DAHLONEGA, GEORGIA – The University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB) women's golf team wrapped up the third and final round of the LeeAnn Noble Memorial, hosted by North Georgia at Achasta Golf Club, with their best team performance of the tournament. The Sand Sharks finished 15th overall with a total score of 928, highlighted by a strong 301 in the final round.
Wingate University claimed the team title with an impressive three-round total of 849, while Olivia Pellerin of Anderson University earned individual medalist honors.
As a team, the Sand Sharks tallied 13 birdies and 140 pars across the tournament.
McLain Neal led the charge for USCB, recording her best round of the season in the final round with a one-under-par 71. She finished tied for 38th, jumping 12 spots from her position after the first round. Neal notched seven birdies tied for the team high and recorded a team-best 34 pars over the three rounds.
Tatiana Ruesta followed as the next best Sand Shark, placing 63rd overall with a tournament total of 232 (75-81-76). She collected 31 pars and six birdies, with her rounds of 75 and 76 marking her lowest scores of the season.
Camila Giordani improved four spots on the final day to finish 66th overall. She posted her best round of the tournament with a 75, bringing her total to 234 (81-78-75). Giordani added six birdies and 30 pars to her performance.
Manon Tortelier ended the event tied for 84th after shooting her best round in the finale, a 79, for a tournament total of 243. She finished with 22 pars and seven birdies, tying the team high.
Izzy Codling rounded out the lineup in 90th place with a total score of 254. She recorded three birdies and 23 pars during the tournament.
The Sand Sharks will return to action October 27–28 at the Currahee D2 Elite Invitational, hosted by Anderson University.
