ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GEORGIA – The University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB) women's golf team wrapped up day two of the three-day St. Simons Intercollegiate tournament, hosted by Lincoln Memorial University at King and Prince Golf Club. The Sand Sharks currently sit in 14th place on the team leaderboard.
Wingate University leads the team standings through two rounds, while Sofia Terzoli of Flagler College holds the individual lead.
For USCB, McLain Neal leads the way, currently tied for 31st overall after posting a two-round total of 153 (+9). She has recorded 23 pars—tied for the most on the team and 15th overall in the field—along with two birdies.
Isobelle Codling is next for the Sand Sharks, tied for 61st after finishing round two with an 82 (+10), bringing her tournament total to 159. She has made 21 pars and three birdies, tied for the team high.
Manon Tortelier is tied for 63rd and posted the team's best round on Tuesday with a 77 (+5). She has a two-round total of 160, with 23 pars, tied for the team lead, along with one birdie.
Camila Giordani and Tatiana Ruesta are both tied for 72nd with a total score of 163. Giordani shot an 82 (+10) in round two and has recorded 15 pars and three birdies, tied for the team high. Ruesta carded an 81 in round two and has tallied 16 pars and three birdies over the two days.
The Sand Sharks will conclude the final round of the tournament on Tuesday, October 7, at the King and Prince Golf Club.
