St. Simons Island, Georgia – The University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB) women's golf team concluded play at the St. Simons Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon hosted by Lincoln Memorial University.

The Sand Sharks placed 13th overall in the three-round tournament, which began on Sunday. As a team, they recorded 18 birdies and 139 pars, finishing with a team total score of 951.

The tournament team champion was Wingate University, who finished with a total of 857. Wingate's Amely Bochaton claimed the individual title.

Leading the way for USCB was McLain Neal, who finished tied for 38th overall after carding a total of 230, highlighted by a 73, her best round of the tournament. Neal led the team with 33 pars and added four birdies.

Next for the Sand Sharks was Manon Tortelier, who placed 67th overall with a total score of 240. Her best round was a 77 in the second round. Tortelier finished with 32 pars and two birdies.

Tatiana Ruesta tied for 75th overall with a total score of 243, posting her best round an 81 in the second. She tallied 25 pars and four birdies throughout the event.

Camila Giordani tied for 77th overall, finishing with a total of 244. Her best rounds came in the first and third, both 81s. Giordani led the team in birdies with five, along with 25 pars.

Rounding out the lineup was Isobelle Codling, who tied for 81st overall with a total of 246. Her best round was a 77, and she contributed 27 pars and three birdies to the team.

The Sand Sharks will return to action next week at the 12th Annual LeeAnn Noble Memorial Tournament, hosted by the University of North Georgia.
