Neal fired an even-par 72 in the final round at Forest Hills Golf Club, finishing the tournament at even par overall to capture the individual championship. The junior entered Sunday with a narrow lead and never relinquished her position atop the leaderboard.

Steady and composed, Neal opened her round with a par on the first hole before rolling in a birdie on the par-3 second. She followed that up with a stretch of seven consecutive pars, making the turn at 1-under. Her hot play continued on the back nine with another birdie on the 10th to reach 2-under, but she would give back a few shots with bogeys on 12, 14, and 15. Showing resilience down the stretch, Neal birdied the par-5 17th and parred the final hole to lock up the victory.

"This is a big win for McLain," said head coach Cory Cottrell. "She earned this win and it is incredibly well deserved. How she practices and competes is everything you could ever want. She represents USCB and herself incredibly well."

Her performance was the highlight of the tournament for the Sand Sharks, who posted a team score of 309 on the final day to secure fourth place overall. Jessica Edwards and Jennifer Larsson each carded 6-over 78s to help pace the team, while Florence Phan rounded out the scoring with a 9-over 81.

It marks another strong finish for the USCB program as it continues to build its presence in the Peach Belt Conference, and Neal's individual title further cements her as one of the premier players in the league.
