BLUFFTON -- Despite being one of the smaller programs in the Peach Belt Conference, USCB Track & Field made a big impact at the PBC Championships in Daytona Beach, capturing two gold medals and continuing to make history in the Sand Sharks' DII transition.
The men's 4x100-meter relay team — composed of Cornell Harris, Sam Mitchell, Zach Sellers, and Bryson Shears — blazed past rivals from Lander and Flagler to claim first place with a stellar time of 41.36 seconds.
On the women's side, De'Andra Brown captured her first PBC gold medal in the heptathlon, racking up 3,809 points. Brown secured first place in the long jump and 200m, and finished among the top three in three additional events, showcasing her all-around dominance.
With gold in hand, these standout Sand Sharks have set the standard — and they'll be aiming to defend their titles in 2026.
