AUGUSTA, GEORGIA – The Peach Belt Conference released the 2025-26 Presidential Honor Roll on Tuesday morning, presented by Barnes & Noble College. The University of South Carolina Beaufort had 157 student-athletes recognized on the honor roll.

The breakdown for the Sand Sharks includes 77 Gold Scholars (3.75 GPA or higher), 33 Silver Scholars (3.50-3.74), 28 Bronze Scholars (3.25-3.49), and 19 Presidential Scholars (3.00-3.24). The 157 is an increase from a year ago for Sand Sharks on the honor roll. 

In total, the conference had 2,096 student-athletes earn a spot on the Academic Honor Roll. That total included 1,861 honorees from core member institutions and 235 honorees from associate member institutions.

This marks the highest total of Peach Belt Conference student-athletes ever recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, as the conference surpassed 2,000 honorees for the first time. It also marks the sixth consecutive year with more than 1,500 honorees and the 16th straight year with at least 1,000 student-athletes recognized on the honor roll.
