Bluffton, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Beaufort women's basketball team has officially released its 2025–26 schedule, setting the stage for an exciting season in the NCAA Division II Peach Belt Conference.

The Sand Sharks, entering their first year of full NCAA Division II membership, will take on a competitive slate of opponents featuring both challenging non-conference match ups and the always-intense grind of PBC play.

Non-Conference Highlights
USCB will open the season with a mix of home and road contests designed to test the squad early and prepare them for conference action. The slate includes regional competitions and opportunities for the Sand Sharks to showcase their growth against established Division II programs. USCB starts the season at home on November 14th for the first of three straight games at home.

Peach Belt Conference Play
The heart of the schedule features Peach Belt Conference action—one of the premier leagues in NCAA Division II basketball. Fans can look forward to match ups with powerhouse opponents and regional rivals, highlighted by several marquee home dates that promise excitement inside The Cove. Conference play will begin on December 3rd before the first home confernece game on December 10th. 

Coach's Outlook
Head Coach Sharon Versyp shared her enthusiasm for the season ahead:

"We are very excited about this schedule to prepare us for the Peach belt conference! We have one fifth year senior, eight juniors, three sophomores and three freshmen which gives us well rounded talent, experience and balance on our team. Having 75 percent of our scoring and rebounding back puts us in a solid position to continue to move forward with growing progress and can't wait to get back into our home game environment!"

With the release of this year's schedule, anticipation continues to build around a program that is quickly establishing itself as a rising force in the Peach Belt Conference. The 2025–26 campaign promises not only thrilling basketball but also opportunities for the Lowcountry community to rally around its Sand Sharks as they take another step forward on the NCAA Division II stage.
