MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA – The University of South Carolina Beaufort men's cross country team hit the road Friday evening to compete in the Bobcat Invitational, hosted by Georgia College & State University. The Sand Sharks placed 7th overall, totaling 206 points.
Nasrudin Mohamed was the individual leader on the leader board, while Augusta led the way on the team leader board.
Braxton Talley led the way pacing USCB, finishing 30th overall with a time of 28:13.36 in the 8K race.
Next for the Sand Sharks in the meet was Zachery Vowles who placed 47th overall after crossing the line at 29:08.11.
Elliott Howe finished 66th with a time of 31:01.03 overall at the Bobcat Invitational.
Beckett Jones was the next Sand Shark to finish the race as he placed 70th, clocking in at 31:22.08.
Benton Cantrell was 74th overall, posting a time of 32:08.16 in the meet.
Ryan Kurz finished 84th with a time of 33:10.94, and Rickson Figueroa rounded out the Sand Shark runners, placing 104th with a time of 38:04.33.
The Sand Sharks will return to action at home for the 18th Annual Sand Shark Invitational on Saturday, October 11th.
