GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA – The University of South Carolina Beaufort women's track and field team closed out its two-day indoor meet in Florida on Saturday. The Sand Sharks competed in four events on the second day.
Chloe Campbell led the way in the high jump, finishing 14th with a final mark of 1.45 meters.
In the hurdles, the Sand Sharks had two athletes compete. Priscilla Rodriguez placed 22nd with a time of 10.15, followed by Grace Wolfe in 25th overall with a time of 10.28.
The 60-meter dash was led by Emma Kwak, who finished 28th overall with a time of 8.17. Melanie Simmons followed in 31st with a time of 8.27, and Logan Harvin finished 39th.
Teresa Shepard led the 800-meter run with a 37th-place finish in 2:33.60, followed by Chandler Riley in 43rd with a time of 2:38.30.
