GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA – The University of South Carolina Beaufort men's track and field team closed out its two-day indoor meet in Florida on Saturday. The Sand Sharks competed in four events.
Samuel Mitchell and Durham Adkins led the way for USCB in the 60-meter dash, with Mitchell placing 25th overall with a time of 7.11 seconds, followed by Adkins, who finished 58th.
In the 60-meter hurdles, the Sand Sharks were led by Alie Sannoh, who placed 17th with a time of 8.82 seconds.
USCB had three runners compete in the 800-meter run, led by Braxton Talley, who placed 31st overall with a time of 2:00.29. Jakori Herring followed in 34th, while Zachery Vowles finished 38th.
In the men's heptathlon, Ramon White represented the Sand Sharks across all seven events, finishing 22nd overall with a total of 2,841 points.
