BLUFFTON, SOUTH CAROLINA – The University of South Carolina Beaufort athletics department is excited to announce a new partnership with Novant Health, marking a generous multi-year agreement designed to elevate USCB Athletics to new levels.
As part of the partnership, USCB has officially named its basketball court Novant Health Court. The arena, known as The Cove, will now feature the added logo on the court in recognition of Novant Health's commitment to supporting USCB Athletics.
"At Novant Health, our commitment to the Lowcountry goes beyond a logo on the court," said Joel Taylor, president of Novant Health's Hilton Head area. "This partnership with USC Beaufort is about investing in the health of student-athletes, fans and families, and supporting a university that plays an important role in this community — including helping educate and train the next generation of healthcare professionals. We want the Sand Shark community to know that Novant Health is here to be a trusted partner in helping our neighbors live healthier, stronger lives."
The partnership was formally announced Wednesday evening between the two basketball games, celebrating the collaboration between the two organizations. The multi-year agreement will provide support across all USCB athletic programs, helping enhance student-athlete development through facility upgrades and the overall betterment of athletic resources.
