EATONTON, GEORGIA – The University of South Carolina Beaufort men's golf team opened the first round of the Bobcat Invitational on Monday at Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee. The Sand Sharks finished day one in 10th place overall before play was suspended due to the weather.

USCB ended the day at +6, sitting in 10th place, led by Octavio Laurent.

Laurent is 12th on the leaderboard after finishing the day even par. He recorded one birdie and five pars as part of his opening round.

Dylan Allen sits 19th overall after finishing the day one over par through his first nine holes of round one. He recorded six pars and one birdie.

Christofer Hammar is 33rd overall in the field after finishing the day two over par. He tied for the team high with two birdies and added five pars.

Aaron Williams is 47th on the leaderboard after finishing three over par on the first day of the tournament. He recorded three pars and two birdies, tying for the team high.

At five over par, Nikolai Holme is 68th overall after completing day one of the Bobcat Invitational with four pars.

The Sand Sharks will continue play on Tuesday, completing round one before competing in round two of the 36-hole tournament.
