LENOIR CITY, TENNESSEE – The University of South Carolina Beaufort Men's Golf team wrapped up day one of the two-day Tennessee River Rumble, hosted by Lincoln Memorial on Monday. USCB sits in fourth place overall after the first two rounds with a team score of 578, highlighted by a low round of 287.

The Sand Sharks were led by Dylan Allen and Nikolai Holme, who are both tied for sixth place with scores of 143.

Allen is tied for sixth after firing a second-round 70 (-2), his best round of the day. He totaled eight birdies, tied for the team lead and third-most in the tournament, while adding 22 pars.

Holme matched Allen's 143, with his best round of 70 (-2) coming in the opening round. Holme recorded a team-high 25 pars, which ranks sixth in the field, and added six birdies.

Octavio Laurent finished just behind them with a 144, highlighted by a second-round 70 (-2). He recorded eight birdies, tied for the team lead and third-most in the tournament, along with 22 pars.

Aaron Williams and Christofer Hammar are tied for 57th overall after each posting a 152 on day one.

Williams recorded a best round of 74 in the opening round and totaled 20 pars along with five birdies.

Hammar added three birdies and 23 pars, with his best round of 74 coming in round two.

USCB Men's Golf will conclude the three-round tournament on Tuesday with a 9:00 a.m. start to close out the Tennessee River Rumble.
