SALISBURY, NORTH CAROLINA – The University of South Carolina Beaufort women's golf team concluded day two and the final round of the Patsy Rendleman Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The Sand Sharks finished tied for fourth overall with a total of 972 (320-317-335) and were led by McLain Neal, who earned a second-place finish.
Catawba claimed the team title, while Mary-Paige King of Catawba was the individual winner.
McLain Neal led the Sand Sharks, finishing tied for second on the leaderboard with a total score of 227. Her best round came in the third and final round, where she carded a 75. Neal recorded five birdies and 29 pars over the tournament. She also had one eagle in the opening round, the only eagle recorded in the event.
Camila Giordani finished with a total score of 235, recording 29 pars and four birdies throughout the tournament. She carded a 74 in the opening round and an 82 in the final round, finishing tied for 12th overall.
London Eneas followed with a final total of 253. Her best round came in the second round with a 79. She recorded one birdie and 21 pars across the tournament, finishing tied for 37th overall.
Tatiana Ruesta finished with 17 pars and one birdie over three rounds. She posted a 91 in the final round and recorded her best score of 83 twice during the tournament. Ruesta finished tied for 44th overall.
Izzy Codling posted a total score of 270, including a 92 in the final round and a tournament-best round of 84. She recorded 12 pars across three rounds and finished 52nd overall.
The Sand Sharks return to action at the Grand Harbor Classic in Anderson, South Carolina, hosted by Anderson University on March 30–31.
