NINETY SIX, SOUTH CAROLINA – The University of South Carolina women's golf team competed in the Grand Harbor Classic, hosted by Anderson University at The Patriot Golf Club at Grand Harbor.
The Sand Sharks finished 13th overall, improving as a team each round to card a 920 (314-306-300), led by Manon Tortelier.
Wingate claimed the team title, while Amely Bochaton of Wingate earned top honors with a first-place finish on the individual leaderboard.
Tortelier tied for 46th overall after posting a 74 in the third round, her best score of the tournament. She finished with a 228 (79-75-74), lowering her score each round. Tortelier recorded four birdies and 36 pars across the three rounds.
McLain Neal tied for 50th overall with a 229, also improving each round. She closed with a 74 in the final round, her best of the tournament. Neal totaled 30 pars and a team-high five birdies, and was one of 10 golfers in the field to record an eagle.
Camila Giordani finished 55th overall with a total of 230 (76-76-78). She added five birdies and 30 pars over the three rounds.
London Eneas placed 72nd overall with a total score of 237, highlighted by a 77 in the final round. She recorded 25 pars and five birdies during the tournament.
Anna Grace Brown finished 79th overall with a total of 241 (80-84-77), turning in her best round in the final round. She tallied five birdies and 25 pars across the event.
The Grand Harbor Classic concludes the team's regular-season schedule. The Sand Sharks will return to action at the Peach Belt Conference Championships, beginning April 19 at King & Bear Golf Course in St. Augustine, Florida.
