ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA – The University of South Carolina Beaufort men's golf team concluded day two of the three-day Peach Belt Conference Championship on Monday. After two rounds, the Sand Sharks sit in fifth place overall, with Aaron Williams and Octavio Laurent tied for 11th.
Georgia Southwestern State University leads the tournament, while Sam Brown of Georgia Southwestern holds the individual lead.
Williams and Laurent are tied for 11th overall after each carded a 78 in round two, bringing their two-round totals to 148 (+4). Williams has recorded one eagle in the tournament and leads the team with six birdies to go along with 20 pars through two rounds.
Laurent also has one eagle—one of three Sand Sharks to achieve the feat—while adding 22 pars and four birdies to remain tied for 11th.
In 17th place, Christofer Hammar posted an 80 in round two for a two-round total of 150. He has recorded four birdies and a team-high 24 pars.
Dylan Allen is next for the Sand Sharks with a total of 151, tying him for 21st overall. He shot a 75 in round two and has totaled five birdies and 23 pars across the tournament.
Nikolai Holme is tied for 33rd overall with a total of 157 after carding a 78 in the second round. He has one eagle from day one, along with three birdies and 18 pars through two rounds.
USCB will conclude the Peach Belt Conference Championship with the final round on Tuesday, April 21, beginning at 7:40 a.m. at King & Bear Golf Course.
