Erin returned to running after a long hiatus after graduating from Dr. Phillips HS and Seminole Community College.  The daughter of Vickie and Dennis Sovel, Erin was born on April 16, 1982.  She is married to Nick Grider who is serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in Beaufort.  Erin is majoring in Nursing at USCB.
