The University of South Carolina Beaufort women's soccer team asks fans to #FloodFinLand with a tidal wave of navy blue when the fourth-seeded Sand Sharks host No. 5 seed SCAD Savannah in the quarterfinals of the Sun Conference Tournament on Thursday. The first 100 resident students will receive free T-shirts, the first 50 faculty, staff and students will receive a Sand Shark giveaway, and all students will receive free pizza while supplies last.Â

ABOUT SCAD SAVANNAH
The Bees were ranked as high as No. 23 in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 during the regular season and have won four of their last five matches, with the lone defeat coming against the Sand Sharks. They have outscored their past two opponents by a combined 14-1 score. Nikki Wittak leads the Bees with 14 goals and 31 points, followed closely by Laerke Michaelson with 11 goals and 26 points. Shelby Dieckamp has a team-high eight assists to go with five goals. The Bees have used four different goalies, but Ande Eich gets the bulk of the playing time and boasts a 1.60 goals against average.Â
SAND SHARK BITES
• USCB's five-game winning streak is the longest in its three-year history. The Sand Sharks have defeated Warner, SCAD Savannah, St. Andrews, Southeastern and Ave Maria since their last loss Oct. 11 at Webber International.Â
• Junior MF Alexa Muffley was named the Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 28 after scoring two goals and dominating in the midfield vs. Southeastern and Ave Maria. Muffley and GK Chelsie Mummert each have earned Defensive Player of the Week honors this season, while sophomore MF Jessica Tooley once was named Offensive Player of the Week. Â
• Muffley has reestablished the program records for goals (7), points (16) and game-winning goals (3) in a season, as well as the career records in each category with 23 points, 10 goals and four game-winners in her three seasons at USCB.
• Mummert boasts a career-best goals against average of 1.93, a full goal lower than last season, when she was named Honorable Mention All-Sun Conference. She has five shutouts this season and 10 in her career.
• F Brittany Lorentz has set USCB freshman records with five goals and five assists, including the game-winning goal in the Sand Sharks' 2-1 win at SCAD Savannah on Oct. 18.Â
• The Sand Sharks have allowed only two goals in their last nine halves dating to a 3-2 win at Warner in which they rallied from a 2-0 halftime deficit.
