This Saturday, Fin Land Field will be the site of USCB's fall senior day. With 7 seniors being recognized prior to the match, USCB is sure to be abuzz.
With still an outside shot at making the playoffs, the Sand Sharks will be looking to play spoiler for the Southeastern University (Fla.) Fire, the nation's 11th ranked team in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll, who will be coming into Bluffton looking to lock up a 2nd place finish in The Sun Conference standings.
The Fire are led by the conference's top forward, Uchenna Kanu, who has 14 conference goals and 25 overall this season.
When asked about the team's preparation for the upcoming weekend tilt, Coach
Ed Heberling noted, "We need to come ready to start. We've struggled at times this season with beginning the match on time. If we come out ready to go, we can play with anyone."
The match witll be broadcast on the
Sand Shark Gameday Network, brought to you free of charge by the Sand Shark Club.

Moa Johansson entered the season as USCB's all-time leader in goals against average after posting a 1.53 GAA last season, the best single-season mark in program history.
• Six different players scored goals in USCB's season-opening 7-2 win against Life, and five different goal-scorers contributed to a 5-0 win over Middle Georgia.
• With the clean sheet against Florida Memorial, junior goalkeeper
Courtney Sherry is now tied for 2nd place all-time with
Moa Johansson in shutouts in a season.
• USCB's nine goals against Ave Maria University marked the second-most in program history and the most since a 14-1 win over Florida Christian in 2012.
• With 18 points this season, senior MF
MJ Orduña has moved into second place on USCB's career list with 41.
