The USCB women's soccer team will head to Hardeeville, South Carolina this Wednesday evening for a match with cross-river rival, SCAD Savannah at 6:30 [.m. held at the SCAD Athletic Complex.
The Sand Sharks are unbeaten in the last two matches with the Bees and look to continue that streak Wednesday night. Both teams enter the contest coming off a loss Saturday night, USCB to St. Thomas University (Fla.) and SCAD to Johnson & Wales University (Fla.). Both teams have identical 2-3 Sun Conference records and find themselves in a three-way tie at 6th.
The Sand Sharks always look forward to their showdown with the local rival and will look to get back to their winning ways Wednesday. The match will be broadcast through the Sand Shark Gameday Network at

• Six different players scored goals in USCB's season-opening 7-2 win against Life, and five different goal-scorers contributed to a 5-0 win over Middle Georgia.

Courtney Sherry is now tied for 2nd place all-time with
Moa Johansson in shutouts in a season.
• USCB's seven goals against the Running Eagles marked the second-most in program history and the most since a 14-1 win over Florida Christian in 2012.

MJ Orduña has moved into third place on USCB's career list with 36.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
The SCAD Bees are led by scoring threat Mikaela Heyboer who has 6 goals on the season. Two other Bees have 4 goals apiece. SCAD will look to Lauren Kittle to backstop their efforts from the goal, where she currently holds a 1.57 goals against average through the 575 minutes she has seen so far this season.
