BLUFFTON, S.C. - USCB Athletics announced on Monday, July 6, 2020 that it will offer free admission to home games/competitions for the 2020 fall season.
The Sand Shark Athletic Department wants to give the community a budget-friendly form of entertainment, while also offering all fans in attendance a safe and clean environment to cheer on the Sand Sharks.
"Providing a safe and clean environment is the first and foremost priority we have for our student-athletes, staff and fans," said Director of Athletics Quin Monahan. "We are looking forward to our Sand Sharks arriving on campus in a few weeks, so we can return to some sort of normalcy, while offering a budget-friendly option for our USCB friends and families."
USCB has five teams that compete during the fall semester - women's soccer, men's and women's cross country and men's and women's golf. At this time, schedules are being finalized, but USCB expects to host around 11 events at Fin Land Field (women's soccer), Hardeeville School Complex (men's and women's cross country) and Oldfield Country Club (men's and women's golf).

"While the last several months have been challenging, we remain committed to our mission of developing champions and leaders, and we will continue to provide our student-athletes with first-class competitive experience," said Associate Director of Athletics Genia Montford. "We appreciate the support of our donors, especially as we face the rising cost of travel and equipment, and missed revenue opportunities in light of safety protocols in place due to COVID."
