KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For the 11th straight year, USCB athletics has been named a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Champions of Character® Five-Star Institution.
Also for the fourth consecutive year, the Sand Sharks earned Gold Status for the Five-Star Institution Award, which was only given to 58 schools for the 2020-21 year.
The Champions of Character® Scorecard measures a commitment to character training, academic focus, character promotion, conduct in competition and character recognition on a scale of 0-100 points.
USCB was the lone Sun Conference representative on the Gold Level, while only three additional league members were represented - Coastal Georgia (silver), Ave Maria (bronze) and St. Thomas (bronze).
