COCHRAN, Ga. - A three-run eighth and another double-digit offensive outburst propelled USCB baseball to a 13-12 victory over Middle Georgia Tuesday evening, putting the Sand Sharks above .500 for the first time this season.

How it Happened
Middle Georgia opened the scoring in the second with an RBI single.
USCB knotted the game at 1-all in the top half of the third following an RBI single from Miller, but the Knights would jump on the Sand Shark relief corps, plating three.
The fourth inning saw USCB put together a big inning thanks to two, two-run base knocks from Driscoll-Sadusky and Tanner -Â the latter, capping the seven-run fourth to make it 8-4.Â
After MGSU scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth, the Sand Sharks added two more in the fifth after two sac flies from the middle of the order.
The Knights scored five runs over two innings to retake the lead, 12-10, but USCB scored three runs in the eighth to retake the lead, 13-12.Â
Middle Georgia threatened in the ninth, putting two runners on, but Coleman struck out Brian Herrera to end the game.Â
