How it Happened
After a scoreless top of the first, Flagler put a big inning together, jumping out to a 3-0 lead. Two more runs crossed the plate in the second, extending the Saint lead to five.
The Sand Sharks made it a 5-3 game in fifth after a Driscoll-Sadusky double to left center, scoring two. Patterson doubled down the right field line, cutting the deficit to two.
Flagler, however, notched back-to-back big innings, pushing across four runs in the fifth and seven in the sixth.
USCB went down 1-2-3 in the seventh, ending the game via the mercy rule.
