AUGUSTA, Ga. - USCB baseball's season concluded Saturday afternoon with a pair of losses to Augusta, falling 17-4 in game one and dropping game two 6-5 at Jaguar Field.

How it Happened: Game One
Augusta jumped out to an early 6-0 lead in the first inning, and the Jags would tack on another four runs in the second, making it a 10-0 game after two.
After allowing another run in the third, the Sand Sharks broke through after Meyer connected on his first homer of the season in the fourth. USCB added two more runs after Aiden Driscoll-Sadusky recorded a sac fly and Harper singled home Hunter Miller.
Meyer added another RBI in the fifth, but Augusta scored six in the sixth to make it a 13-run game.
USCB went down 1-2-3 in the seventh to end game one via the mercy rule.

How it Happened: Game Two
The Sand Sharks broke through in the second, thanks to Galasi's leadoff homer to right.
The Jags, however, took the lead right back, scoring two in the bottom half of the second.
Augusta would add two more runs in the third, but USCB cut the lead to two after Thibodeaux drove in Galassi.
Miller's RBI single in the fifth made it a two-run game, and after an error, the Sand Sharks tied the game at 5-5 in the seventh.
Jared Martin put the Jags back in front after homering in the eighth.
USCB put two runners on opening the ninth, but Wesley Ambrose's chopper to second forced Miller at second and Carson Phillips was thrown out trying to score from third to end the game.
