Holme cards 1-under final round; USCB claims Rams Shootout title

SOUTHERN PINES -- Nikolai Holme jumped four spots on the leaderboard thanks to his 1-under final round to claim the individual crown and making the All-Tournament at the Rams Shootout at the Pines and the USCB men's golf team earned the team title shooting 24-over Tuesday afternoon at the Mid Pines Course.

Holme started the day 2-over and finshed the front nine 1-over, but the Jessheim, Norway native shined on the back end, carding back-to-back birdies on 9 and 10 while picking up another birdie on the par-5 15th. Teammate Ellis Bright posted a 4-over 36-hole total with consecutive 73s on the scorecard to earn All-Tournament honors. Jan Ciric finished his tournament with a 5-over score while Tyler Quaill and Christofer Hammar posted scores of +15 and +18 respectively.

The Sand Sharks return to the links on March 18-19 at the Ralph Hargett Men's Invitational hosted by Wingate University.
