MILLEDGEVILLE Georgia - The Men's Sand Sharks Cross Country team competed in the Peach Belt Conference meet on Saturday morning. University of South Carolina Beaufort placed seventh overall in the conference.
The team finished with a total time of 2:25:58 averaging 29:11 for the top five finishers on the team.
Flagler was the overall leader in the meet placing first as Finnian Russell was the individual winner for the meet.
The Sand Sharks were paced by Braxton Talley in the meet placing 45th overall with a final time of 27:52.2 in the 8K meet.
In 51st overall for the Sand Sharks was Zachery Vowles with a final time of 28:27.3 for his second fastest 8k time of the season.
Elliott Howe was next for the Sand Sharks at a time of 28:59.6 for his final time placing 58th overall in the meet; this was his second fastest of the season.
Next for the Sand Sharks was Benton Cantrell placing 71st overall with a time of 30:18.2. He was one of three straight Sand Sharks to finish in a row.
Beckett Jones was 72nd overall in the meet as he completed the race with a time of 30:20.9 in the race.
In 73rd overall in the meet was Ryan Kurz with a final time of 30:26.3 in the meet on Saturday morning.
Rickson Figueroa finished the meet with a final time of 33:33.5 placing 83rd overall in the meet.
Braxton Talley was named to the 2025 All Sportsmanship cross country team.
The Sand Sharks next meet will be November 8th at the NCAA Southeast Regional that Saturday.
