HARDEEVILLE, SC- The University of South Carolina Beaufort Sand Sharks picked up another win Friday afternoon in game one in conference series against the Webber International Warriors 13-6. The Sand Sharks improved their record to 24-13 overall and 11-8 the Sun Conference, while the Warriors fall to 15-22 overall and 2-11 TSC. 

The Sand Sharks took the early lead in Friday's game thanks to starting pitcher Jared Campbell, who threw two scoreless innings, allowing the Sharks to pick up 2 runs. David O'Neil reached on a single in the first inning, followed by RJ Neal who also singled. TJ Kemp hit a big RBI double in to bat in the first run of the game. 

The Sand Sharks picked up another run in the second inning as Zach Rossetti singled and was plated by a RBI double by DeShontay Berry. 

The Warriors answered back with one of their own in the third on a RBI double by Carmillo.
The Sand Sharks scored three more in the bottom of the third, Neal singled, Kemp doubled. Neal scored on Spencer Jackson's RBI single. Rossetti picked up two RBI's on a single, putting the Sand Sharks up 5-1. 

The Warriors battled back to tie up the score in the top of sixth, but the tie was short lived, as the Sand Sharks picked up one in the bottom of the sixth and six more insurance runs in the seventh to solidify the final score, 13-6. 

Clay Bonds and RJ Neal each had a homerun in Friday's game. 

Reliever Ryan Kroko picked up his 5th win of the season taking his record to 5-1. 

The Sand Sharks will be back in action tomorrow as they take on the Warriors in a double header, first pitch is scheduled for 1pm.
