DENMARK, SC—The USCB Sand Sharks took two from Voorhees College Wednesday 9-5, and 6-2 respectively. Sand Sharks increase their record to 29-16 overall.

The two game series was highlighted by the pitching staff that combined for a total of 13 strikeouts for the day. Leading the staff was Ryan Philpott in game two with 4 strikeouts, while Jared Campbell, Jorge Olmo, Kevin Koehn and Kyle McCullough each had two K's and Ryan Kroko with one.

The bats were swinging for the Sand Sharks as well, getting a total of 23 hits in 14 innings. RJ Neal was the RBI leader for the Sand Sharks earning three in each game. Neal went 6 for 9 in the two games, with 4 doubles, 1 triple 3 RBIs, and 3 runs scored. DeShontay Berry also homered in game two.

The Sand Sharks will be on the road again Tuesday the 21st at Savannah State, the first pitch is set for 4pm.
