Hardeeville, SC- USCB played their second non-conference game against Southern Wesleyan University, who beat the Sand Sharks 5-4 in extra innings on Tuesday. After going down 3-0 in the first inning it looked as if the Sand Sharks would struggle to get out of their four game slump. In the bottom of the third the bats, once again, came to life for the home team as USCB plated six runs in the inning to take the lead 7-3 over the visiting Warriors. Although the seven runs would hold up, the Sand Sharks tacked on six more runs in the game to win 13-3.
On the mound the Sand Shark pitchers had a strong outing in holding the Warriors offense scoreless in the final seven innings of play.

Matthew Graney in the first inning to earn his first win the for the Sand Sharks.
Luke Pritchett, two innings, and Andres Castro, three innings, combined to close out the game on the mound for USCB.
At the plate
RJ Neal went 3-for-4 on the day and scored four runs for USCB; while Spencer Jackson drove in two runs, scored two more in a 3-for-5 effort. The Sand Sharks offense came back to life scattering 17 hits, by nine different batters, in the game.
With the win the Sand Sharks move to 12-5, overall, and stay at 3-3 in Sun Conference play, This weekend USCB will travel to Northwood University in conference play. First pitch is set for 3:00 pm on Friday and 1:00 pm on Saturday. Tune in this weekend as all three games will be streamed live at
