Adam Miller, Jr., Savannah, GA, threw a gem on the mound as USCB won 5-2 against Northwood University. Miller, 2-2, struck out nine batters, allowed seven hits, and held the Seahakws to two runs in a complete game. The Sand Sharks are now 13-5 on the season and 4-3 in Sun Conference play.
Ty Main, Baltimore, MD, has been a spark to the team as the lead-off batter. Main went 2-for-4 on the day and scored two runs for USCB.
David O'Neil, Jr., Ludlow, VT, and DeShontay Berry, Jr., Lithonia, GA, had two hits and scored a run, each, for USCB.
USCB will play Northwood University in a conference double-header starting tomorrow, Saturday, March 5th, at 11:00 pm. The games will be streamed live at
www.uscbathetics.com with Guy Malool, Voice of the Sand Sharks, giving commentary. USCB will be back at home on Tuesday, March 8th, to play Claflin University in non-conference action. First pitch is set for 4:00 pm at Richard Gray Park in Hardeeville.
