Hardeeville, SC-On Wednesday the USCB baseball team hosted, #8 Ranked, Brewton-Parker College looking win their second game in a row after beating Southern Wesleyan, 14-5, on Tuesday.  The Sand Sharks were led at the plate by Ty Main, Blake Cilwick, and Erik Armstrong as they accounted for six of the ten hits on the day.  Unfortunately, the Sand Sharks could only plate two runs on the day as they lost 6-2 and dropped their record to 23-18, overall.  Dexter Price had the start on the mound and threw four innings, gave up two runs, and had three strike-outs on the day.  Price is now 5-3 on the season for the Sand Sharks. 

 

USCB will play on the road next Tuesday, April 19^th as they play Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, FL.  The Sand Sharks have taken the first two games and will look to complete the sweep.  The baseball team will then travel to play Florida Memorial University on Friday, April 22^nd and Saturday, April 23^rd in their Sun Conference series.  They will return home for their final regular season game on Tuesday, April 26^th to host Savannah State University at 4:00 pm at Richard Gray Stadium in Hardeeville.
