Four University of South Carolina Beaufort student-athletes have earned academic accolades for the Fall 2013 season.

Meleah Powers, a junior cross country runner from Aiken, S.C., was named to the Sun Conference All-Academic Team and awarded NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete honors. Powers boasts a 4.0 GPA in Business Administration. 

Three women's soccer players — sophomores Claire Kennedy, Jessica Tooley and Sam Satterlee — also earned Sun Conference All-Academic honors. Kennedy (Columbia, S.C.) boasts a 3.9 GPA in Studio Art, Satterlee (Clover, S.C.) has a 3.71 GPA in Biology, and Tooley (Tega Cay, S.C.) carries a 3.68 GPA in Pre-Nursing.
