MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA - University of South Carolina Beaufort women's cross country closed out the 2025 Peach Belt Conference meet on Saturday morning. The Sand Sharks placed ninth overall in the women's 5k. 
The team had a total time of 1:57.42 with an average time of 23:52 in the meet. 
Flagler led the way with the first place finish, as Chloe Smith was the individual champion. 
The Sand Sharks were led by Avrie Farrington placing 76th overall in the meet with a final time of 22:30.2, for her second fastest of the season. 
Next for the Sand Sharks was Grace Napoli placing 82nd overall in the meet at a time of 22:52.8 as the second Sand Shark to finish. She was one of three straight Sand Sharks to finish in a row. 
In 83rd overall was Chandler Riley with a final time of 22:55.8 completing her second fastest 5K of the season. 
Sofia Mejia completed the race in 22:57.5 for 84th overall in the meet at the Peach Belt Conference meet. 
 Placing 99th overall in the meet was Teresa Shepard with a final time of 26:26.4, finishing the meet with her second fastest of the season. 
Chandler Riley was named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Sportsmanship team. 
The Sand Sharks next meet will be November 8th at the NCAA Southeast Regional that Saturday.
