Benedict (0-4) at USCB (4-4)
The University of South Carolina Beaufort baseball team returns home Tuesday to face NCAA Division II Benedict College in a doubleheader at 1 p.m. at Richard Gray Sports Complex. It's the first meeting between the in-state foes, who are scheduled to square off for another doubleheader April 8 in Columbia. The Sand Sharks are looking to continue their strong play at home, where they are 4-1 in 2014, and snap a three-game skid after dropping three competitive games at No. 3 Embry-Riddle over the weekend. It's the first of three home doubleheaders this week for USCB, which hosts St. Andrews (N.C.) at 1 p.m. Saturday and Fisher (Mass.) at 11 a.m. Sunday.
