St. Andrews (3-3) at USCB (6-4)
The University of South Carolina Beaufort baseball team looks to continue its strong play at home when it hosts St. Andrews (N.C.) University for a non-conference doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday at Richard Gray Sports Complex. The Sand Sharks, who are coming off a doubleheader sweep of visiting Benedict on Tuesday, are 6-1 on their home field this season. It's the final home date for USCB until a three-game Sun Conference series with Florida Memorial on March 7-8. The Sand Sharks were scheduled to play Fisher (Mass.) on Sunday but those games have been canceled.Â

SCOUTING ST. ANDREWS
The Knights have struggled at the plate in their first two series, hitting .206 as a team and averaging 3.7 runs while taking two of three from Pikeville (Ky.) and dropping two of three to William Carey (Miss.). Junior 3B Tyler Radcliff (.350 BA, 4 RBIs) has been the team's top hitter with junior OF Michael Luing (.364 BA) also having success in limited action. The pitching staff has been solid, boasting a 2.80 ERA. Senior RHP Joe McCarty (1-1, 2.08 ERA) has been the team's top starter and junior RHP Chris Fee has pitched 8 1/3 innings without allowing an earned run and has one save in two relief appearances.Â
