USCB Athletics Sets Rules and Regulations for Fans at Fall Home Events

BLUFFTON, S.C. - With fall home games/meets commencing soon, USCB Athletics set forth several gameday rules and expectations for all fans at home fall games this season. 

These rules and regulations are applied to women's soccer and men's & women's cross country.

As a reminder, all fall home meets/games are free admission for all fans. The official press release about free admission for the 2020 fall season can be found by clicking HERE

"The safety and well-being of our student-athlete is the utmost importance, however, so is that of our fans, families and community members," said Director of Athletics Quin Monahan. "With the safety and health standards in mind, the follow protocol will be in place until further notice."

Below are the rules/guidelines for all fans attending fall home events for the 2020 season.

  1. All fans must bring their own seating (chairs, blankets, etc.). Spectator seating will not be available.
     
  2. Fans will not be allowed on the field of play or come into physical contact with any member of the home or visiting team (students or staff), officials or gameday staff. 
     
  3. Fans will be asked to exit the facility within 15 minutes of the conclusion of the game or event. Teams and officials will not be permitted to exit the facility until fans have cleared the area.
     
  4. Fans will not be allowed to gather or congregate outside of the entrance or exit to the facility/field.
     
  5. Public restrooms will not be available.
     
  6. Concessions will not be available.
     
  7. USCB gameday staff will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), but only deemed necessary to complete their job requirement.
     
  8. Fans may be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). USCB Athletics will follow the state, local and university mandates that are in place at that time. The USCB Athletics' website (www.uscbathletics.com) and displayed signage will encourage fans to consider wearing PPE. 
     
  9. Social distancing guidelines will be posted on our athletic website, displayed with signage at all facilities and explained when fans arrive at the event.
