MIAMI, Fla. - For the first time in his career, USCB baseball senior Clint Sellers garnered the Sun Conference's Player of the Week honor on Monday, April 26, 2021.

Sellers collected at least one hit in all five games for USCB this week - highlighted by back-to-back three-hit performances versus Edward Waters. On the week, the senior from Americus, Ga. totaled 10 hits, six runs, two doubles, one triple, a pair of home runs and four RBIs.

Sellers nearly completed the cycle in the first game of the week, as he only missed the feat without collecting a single. He capped off the doubleheader versus EWC with another three-hit performance (all singles).

On the year, the senior has a .389 batting average to go along with his .653 slugging percentage and .491 on-base clip. He has 56 total hits in 2021 to go along with 15 doubles, four triples and five homers. He also has 31 RBIs and 31 runs.

Sellers and the Sand Sharks will return to action on Tuesday, April 27, when they travel to Brewton-Parker for a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.
