HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - To finish off USCB's first-ever home Peach Belt Conference series, the USCB baseball team capped off the series sweep with another dominating win, 12-1, over Claflin on Sunday afternoon at Richard Gray Stadium.

How It Happened
After giving up one run in the top of the first, USCB's offense quickly jumped out to a lead by plating seven runs across the first three innings.
Humphrey and Galassi connected with run-scoring hits in the first, while Brian Meyer and Miller poked RBI base knocks in the second to take the 6-1 lead. To cap off the scoring in the first three innings, Galassi scored easily on a failed pickoff attempt in the third.
Following scoreless fourth and fifth innings, the Sand Sharks put the game out of hand in the sixth with five runs off four hits. Driscoll-Sadusky, Humphrey, Galassi and Jake Tanner accounted for the runs to push the lead to 11, 12-1.
Martin came into the seventh for his first appearance of the weekend, and he faced the minimum to seal the series sweep for USCB.
