BABSON PARK, Fla. - Looking to rebound from Friday's doubleheader loss, the USCB baseball team couldn't turn the tables, as No. 9 Webber International swept the series over the Sand Sharks by taking games three and four, 9-7 and 6-1, on Saturday afternoon.

The Warriors jumped out to an early lead in game one after an RBI single and a bases-loaded walk in the first.
USCB cut into the lead when McKown singled up the middle scoring a run, but Webber added four runs in the bottom half of the second after Acevedo laced an two-RBI single through the middle and Allen added a two-run homer to make it 6-1 after two innings.
The Sand Sharks continued to battle in the third, plating three runs after Wesley Ambrose scored on an error and Miller doubled home two with a base knock to center. However, WIU added single runs over the next three innings to stretch the lead to five.
McKown drilled a solo homer in the sixth, and Nikko Andre singled up the middle to cut the Warriors' lead to three. Thibodeaux singled home the Sand Sharks' last run with a base hit to center field.

How It Happened: GM Two
Webber jumped out to an early 2-0 lead after a run scored on a double play in the first, and Josh Blackmore drilled a solo shot in the second.
Tanner blasted a solo homer of his own in the top of the fourth to cut the lead in half, but the Warriors scored three in the bottom half of the inning on a three-run homer from Drake Dobyanski.
WIU scored an unearned run in fifth to cap the scoring and claim the 6-1 win.
