How it Happened
The Sand Sharks jumped out to an early 4-0 lead after just one inning, setting the tone early.
Galassi singled to right and Ambrose followed with a single to center, making it 2-0. Another two runs would score on a wild pitch.
The Knights plated a solo run in the second, but USCB put up its second four-run inning in the third. After a balk, Carson Phillips singled through the right side, scoring another run. Meyer collected a bases-loaded walk, and Miller recorded a sac fly to cap off the scoring in the third.
St. Andrews would have a four-run inning of its own in the fourth, but the Sand Sharks had its third four-run frame in the sixth.
The Knights scored one run in the ninth but wasn't enough to keep up with the big innings from USCB.
