AMERICUS, Ga. - Despite a career-best, four-hit game from freshman Hunter Miller, the USCB baseball team fell via mercy rule, 10-0, on Friday to Georgia Southwestern to open a three-game series.

How it Happened
The Canes jumped out to a 1-0 lead after a sac fly. Another run would come across two innings late after a wild pitch.
The two teams remained scoreless throughout the middle innings, but Georgia Southwestern broke the game open with a six-run seventh.
With two more runs coming across home plate, the Canes invoked the mercy rule in the eighth.
