ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Brandon Blume pitched a quality start - going the distance - while allowing just one earned run over eight innings and striking out six, but the Sand Shark offense only mustered one run in a 3-1 loss to Flagler ON Friday night.

How it Happened
The Saints scored two unearned runs after Trey Newland laced a 2-0 pitch up the middle in the fifth.
After back-to-back strikeouts to open inning number seven, Julian Galassi doubled to the right centerfield gap, and Ambrose ripped a 3-1 fastball down the right field line to score the Sand Sharks' first run. In the same inning, Hunter McKown singled, then stole second, but Gage Voorhees struck out Brooks Dawson to end the threat.
Donovan Garcia singled to center in the eighth to make it 3-1 for Flagler, and Voorhees worked a scoreless ninth to finish the game.
