HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - After being swept by rival USC Aiken last weekend, the USCB baseball team's bats got hot, defeating visiting Iowa Wesleyan, 9-5, on Tuesday afternoon at Richard Gray Stadium.

How it Happened
It was a rough start for the Sand Sharks, allowing four runs through the first three innings, but USCB tied the game in the bottom of the third.
Tyler Knox reached on a fielder's choice, scoring the first run, and Thibodeaux collected a two-RBI single to make it a one-run game. Ambrose followed with an RBI double to right, tying the game at four.
USCB's offense would stay hot over the next three innings, pushing across five more runs. Nikko Andre and Colton Kent added run-scoring hits in the fourth.
Jacob Anderson made it 7-4 in the fifth with a double down the left field line, and Driscoll-Sadusky singled up the middle, tacking on another run for USCB.
Ambrose capped the scoring for the Sand Sharks in the sixth, collecting a run-scoring hit to right to seal the 9-5 win.
