COLUMBIA — Taylor Atkinson, LeeAisha Ford, and Sofia Mejia all posted personal records in the 6k as USCB finished in 11th at the Aikah McMillian Invitational Saturday afternoon in Columbia. 

"It was a great meet for our women's teams," coach Terica Harris said. "We had a few PRs, and like always we were able to see what we need to work on in these next few weeks at practice." 

Cydney Stevenson led the Sand Sharks, posting a time of 26.21.3, good for just over a seven-minute mile. Atkinson finished four spots behind with a 27.00.1 time. Mejia cross the finish line with a time of 29.19.1 while Ford's 35.36.8 both set personal records. Aniah Wright finished with a time of 32.13.0. 

The Sand Sharks host Savannah State in a dual meet on Tuesday. The race is schedule to begin at 3 p.m.
