Stevenson leads the way, USCB finishes 11th

CHARLOTTE -- Cydney Stevenson led USCB's women's cross country team with a time of 21:57.32 finishing in the top 70 as the Sand Sharks finished 11th overall at the Queens City Invite Friday night.

Kate Curry set a new personal best, posting a time of 23:33.62 while Sofia Mejia and Aniah Wright finished with sub 27 minute times, 26:46.05 and 26:58.20 respectively while LeeAisha Ford clocked time of 29:51.19 and De'Andra Brown rounded out Beaufort's field with a time of 33:33.4.

The Sand Sharks return home to Bluffton for a dual meet with Savannah State on Wednesday.
