GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA – The University of South Carolina Beaufort women's cross country team opened its 2025 season at the Bruins XC Night Classic, hosted by Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina.
The Sand Sharks placed 12th overall in the meet, recording an average time of 18:50 in the 4K to start the season.
Grace Napoli led the way for USCB, finishing as the top Sand Shark with a time of 17:28.6 and an average mile pace of 7:01.8 placing 45th overall in the meet. She was followed by freshman Avrie Farrington, who posted a time of 17:39.2 in her season debut.
Chandler Riley was the third finisher for the Sand Sharks, placing 53rd overall with a time of 17:43.2. Sofia Mejia followed in 64th place, finishing with a final time of 18:07.7.
James Bullard rounded out the five for USCB, placing 95th with a time of 23:14.6 in the 4K.
